My wife and I are writing another review for Sunny and David after our third transaction within three years. We worked with them to get our first home in a very competitive housing market back in late 2014 (See our comment on 3/25/2015). As our family is growing, we decided to sell our first house and buy another house in 2017. We did not even hesitate for a second when we decided to work with them based on our previous experience. Sunny and David’s dedication and professional attitude made this decision very easy.

The real estate market became even hotter in 2017 compared to the time we bought our first house. As the demand was very strong with low supply, it was extremely difficult to buy a house within our preferred area under the competitive market. Initially, we did not set our mind about the priority in our wish list, so we struggled a little bit to figure out which house is the one we really want. I really appreciate that Sunny did not directly bring her suggestion to us at that time. Instead, she helped us to explore different types of houses in few areas. We exchanged thoughts with Sunny often, and she always feedbacks us a well-analyzed insight about the pros and cons. We did spin for a while in this process. However, this is definitely very helpful for us to figure out what is the most important item on our wish list. This enabled us to put our foot down firmly while we decided to make an offer because we have 100% confidence this is the house we want, which I believe is very crucial in a competitive market.

Soon after we purchased our new home, Sunny immediately jumped to the project of helping us get ready for our first home for the market. Originally we thought it should be very easy to sell a house in a sellers’ market, but my wife and I still experience quite some stress due to the uncertainties. David and Sunny made the whole thing easier for us by having a clear plan guiding us from the beginning to the end. They had great strategies which helped us receive some very good feedback about our house from potential buyers’ perspectives. We did some minor modifications to the property according to the feedback, which greatly improved the comfort level of the house. We sold our place at the highest price compared to the previous comp and the comp sold only a few weeks after ours in the same community. David and Sunny amazed not only us but our neighbors! Though there was some unexpected surprise from the buyer when we closed the deal, David and Sunny were so experienced that they were able to tackle all the hiccups while we can still have a peace of mind.

My wife and I sincerely appreciate Sunny and David’s dedication and professional attitude. They not only successfully won our trust and respect but also made the hard thing, house hunting/purchasing/selling in Silicon Valley, as easy as possible. We are very grateful to have Sunny and David as our agents. Five stars same as three years ago, we highly recommend Sunny and David if you are looking for (or struggling to get) a property in the SV real estate market.

The memory of the first day we spoke to Sunny via phone is still vivid in our mind. Unlike other agents we worked with before, not only we interviewed her but she also interviewed us during our first call. We were surprised at the beginning; however, after meeting her in person, we immediately understand the reason behind that – she is 100% dedicated to and contributes all the efforts to each of her clients. She wants to know her client well. She is truly a professional.

My wife and I are both first time home buyers. During our first few meetings, Sunny spent quite amount of time walking us through the entire home purchase procedure and the contract line by line. I could not believe there were so many details we did not know but should have known as we were actively searching for houses for several months. The entire education seems tedious, but it is absolutely very worthy. The more the buyers understand, the less worry/hesitation while making decisions of putting an offer in such a short time.

Also, even importantly, Sunny listened to us before she started providing advice to us. Though my wife and I could only come out a few ideas of deal breakers, she asked questions and gradually figured out what kind of house we may like. She even went through with us all the offers we put previously and summarized a must-have list (we both thought she understood us better than ourselves :P). At the end, we found the house we bought at our first grand tour.

After our offer was accepted, Sunny provided us with a clear timeline, which guided us step-by-step to go through the entire process. We were kind of worried at the beginning, but Sunny gave us clear instructions making it easy for us to follow. We had last minute surprise on the appraisal result, but Sunny quickly came out a backup plan reducing the risk we slip the closing deadline.

Even after the transaction is closed, Sunny still provided tremendous help on remodeling. Her partner, David, is knowledgeable and experienced on remodeling. Both of them provided very useful suggestions.

Both my wife and I enjoyed working with Sunny. Every single thing Sunny did makes sense to me and that is also exactly what I expect for a great real estate agent. She earned our full respect, and she will definitely be our go-to person if our place is going to be on the market one day.
